RED WINE CHOCOLATE BREAD

Total Time Taken: 1 hour
Yield: 10 Servings

Ingredients:
¼ cup buttermilk
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup canola oil
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 cup cherries, pitted
1 cup red wine
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
1. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda
in a container.

2. Put in the remaining ingredients and stir for a few seconds to mix.

3. Fold in the cherries then pour the batter in a loaf pan coated with
baking paper.

4. Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350F for about forty-five minutes or
until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Let cool in the pan and serve, sliced.
