CHOCOLATE CHIP ORANGE BREAD

Total Time Taken: 1 ¼ hours
Yield: 10 Servings

Ingredients:
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup buttermilk
½ cup dark chocolate chips
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 orange, zested and juiced
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs

Directions:
1. Mix the butter and sugar in a container until creamy.

2. Put in the eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly.

3. Stir in the orange zest, orange juice and buttermilk and mix
thoroughly.

4. Fold in the flour, salt, baking powder and chocolate chips then
spoon the batter in a loaf pan coated with baking paper.

5. Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350F for forty minutes or until it rises
significantly and starts to appear golden-brown.

6. Let cool in the pan and serve, sliced.
