BUTTERMILK STRAWBERRY BREAD

Total Time Taken: 1 hour
Yield: 10 Servings

Ingredients:
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, melted
½ cup white sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups strawberries, halved

Directions:
1. Mix the flours, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt in a
container.

2. Put in the butter, buttermilk, egg and vanilla and stir for a few
seconds to mix.

3. Fold in the strawberries then spoon the batter in a loaf cake pan
covered with parchment paper on the bottom and sides.

4. Preheat your oven and bake the bread at 350F for forty minutes or
until it rises significantly and starts to appear golden-brown.

5. Let cool in the pan and serve, sliced.
