APPLESAUCE WALNUT BREAD

Total Time Taken: 1 ¼ hours
Yield: 10 Servings

Ingredients:
½ cup light brown sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup buttermilk
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 cup applesauce
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 egg
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
1. Mix the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, ginger and
cinnamon in a container.

2. Put in the remaining ingredients and stir for a few seconds to mix.

3. Pour the batter in a loaf pan covered with parchment paper.

4. Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350F for about fifty minutes or until a
toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Let cool in the pan before you serve.
