Mexi Milk Steamer
Yield: Approximately one 12-ounce (355 ml) steamer
Ingredients:
3/4 cup (175 ml) unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup (120 ml) coconut water
1 tablespoon (6 g) raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon maca powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon (7 g) yacon or (20 g) maple syrup
Method:
Warm the almond milk and coconut water on the stove over medium-high heat. Do not bring to a boil.
Using a milk frother, whip until slightly foamy and then pour into your favorite mug.
Stir in the cacao and maca powders, vanilla, cinnamon, cayenne, and yacon or maple syrup. Enjoy!
