How to make Mango Grasshopper Smoothie Recipe - You can’t go wrong with the tropical flavors of mango and pineapple if you want to mask the intense flavor of wheatgrass. Not to mention both pineapple and mango contain digestive enzymes that help to break down proteins for more efficient assimilation and absorption. Apple is rich in fiber and keeps your digestive system in tip-top shape. So if you’re feeling like your digestion needs a little oomph, this smoothie has your name written all over it!

Yield: approximately one 20-ounce (570 ml) smoothie

Ingredients:
1/2 cup (90 g) fresh or frozen mango
1/2 teaspoon wheatgrass powder
1 large handful spinach leaves
2 large kale leaves, de-ribbed
1 medium semisweet apple (such as Fuji or gala), cored, and quartered
1 1/2 cups (355 ml) fresh pineapple juice
5 to 6 ice cubes

Method:
In a blender, combine all the ingredients.

Blend on high for 20 seconds. Enjoy immediately and say, “ah!”
