Loving My Greens Juice

How to make Loving My Greens Juice Recipe - If you just simply can’t stand the taste of green juice, please give this one a chance. You just might be surprised at how not green it tastes. The zesty lemon and ginger add some nice zing, and the green taste is cut by the sweetness of yacon and tanginess of green apple. Ginger is anti-inflammatory and good for your gut, kale and lemon are excellent detoxifiers, celery promotes healthy heart function, cucumber tones and brightens your skin, and yacon sweetens without spiking your blood sugar. Doesn’t sound so bad right? Bottoms up!

Yield: Approximately one 16-ounce (475 ml) juice

Ingredients:
1 piece (1/2 inch, or 1 cm) fresh ginger
1 medium lemon, peeled, with pith intact
4 kale leaves
4 celery stalks
2 green apples, halved
1 medium cucumber, ends trimmed
2 tablespoons (13 g) yacon syrup

Method:
Pass the ginger, lemon, kale, celery, apples, and cucumber through a juicer.

Transfer to a serving glass and stir in the yacon. Enjoy!
