At First Blush
Makes 2 to 3 servings
Ingredients:
2 ounces light rum
2 ounces simple syrup
1 ounce raspberry liqueur (such as Mathilde)
1 ounce rosé champagne (such as Chandon Rose)
1 ounce fresh lime juice
2 or 3 strawberries, hulled, plus 1 to 1 1⁄2 for garnish
2 or 3 sage leaves, for garnish
Method:
Combine the rum, simple syrup, raspberry liqueur, rosé champagne, lime juice, and the 2 or 3 strawberries in a blender with 2 cups of ice.
Blend until smooth. Pour into two or three cocktail glasses (or champagne flutes for a festive feel). Garnish each with a half strawberry and a sage leaf.
