Strawberries Brulee

How to make Strawberries Brulee Recipe

4 SERVINGS

Ingredients:
3 cups Strawberries, hulled and split
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1/4 cup plus Granulated sugar
1 tablespoon
1 cup Heavy cream
2 tablespoons Confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Method:
Preheat the broiler.

Combine the strawberries, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon (14 ml) granulated sugar; toss well.

Divide the mixture evenly among four 1-cup (235 ml) soufflé dishes; set aside.

Whip the cream, then add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla.

Cover the strawberries with whipped cream and flatten the tops of the dishes.

Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon (14 ml) of sugar over the top of each and place the dishes directly under broiler or use a butane torch to bubble up cream until it browns slightly. The sugar will form a paper-thin layer of caramel. Serve at once.
