Brussels Sprouts with Hazelnuts

Ingredients:
4 cups Brussels sprouts, cleaned
2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1/4 cup Onion, 1/4 inch (.6 cm) dice
1 tablespoon Hazelnuts, finely chopped
To taste Salt and white pepper
Method:
Remove the blemished outside leaves and score an X that is 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) deep in each stem end of the Brussels sprouts.
Par-boil the Brussels sprouts in simmering salted water until they are fork-tender. Drain and reserve.
Heat the butter over medium heat, add the onion, and cook for 2 minutes or until golden.
Stir in the chopped hazelnuts and continue to cook for an additional 1 minute.
Add the Brussels sprouts and toss, coating them thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper.
