Rutabagas with Bacon and Thyme

Ingredients:
4 cups Rutabaga, peeled, 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes
1/4 cup Bacon, 1/4 inch (.6 cm) dice
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon Thyme, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1 tablespoon Butter
Method:
Par boil the rutabaga in salted water; drain.
Over medium heat, render the bacon until crisp.
Add the rutabaga, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat until tender, approximately 10 minutes.
Season to taste and toss in butter.
