Nuoc Cham Sauce
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
2 cloves garlic, minced
Method:
Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Makes about 1-1/2 cups
