Spicy Pickles
Serves: 20
Ingredients:
1 tbsp pickling spice
1 1/2 tbsp Kosher salt
3 tbsp turbinado sugar
2 jalapeños, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp dill, chopped
1 1/2 cups boiling water
5 English cucumbers, sliced
1 cup white wine vinegar
Method:
In a large (1-quart) glass jar with a lid, combine pickling spice, salt, sugar, jalapeños, garlic, and dill.
Pour boiling water into the jar and then add the cucumbers.
Add the vinegar until the jar is full.
Tightly screw lid on the jar, shake, and store in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
