Green Beans

Ingredients:
2 cups Green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons Butter
Pinch Mace
1/4 teaspoon Lemon juice
To taste Salt and white pepper
Method:
String and parboil the green beans in salted boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes; check for tenderness.
Shock the beans in ice water, drain, and chill until needed.
Heat a sauté pan, add the butter, let it get light brown, then toss in the green beans. Season with mace, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
