How to make valentine martini cocktail recipe
makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 chilled martini glasses
equipment cocktail shaker, strainer, cocktail sticks
ice cubes
4 measures raspberry vodka
12 raspberries, plus extra to decorate
1 measure lime juice
2 dashes sugar syrup
lime rind spirals, to decorate
Method:
Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add all the remaining ingredients and shake until a frost forms on the outside of the shaker. Double-strain into 2 chilled martini glasses.
Decorate with the extra raspberries and a lime rind spiral on cocktail sticks and serve.
For a Watermelon Martini, squeeze the juice of half a lime into a cocktail shaker, add 8 chunks of watermelon, 3 measures of vodka, 1 measure of passion fruit liqueur and a dash of cranberry juice. Shake over ice then strain into 2 chilled martini glasses and decorate with a watermelon wedge.
