How to make playa del mar cocktail recipe
makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 highball glasses
equipment cocktail shaker, strainer
2 orange slices
light brown sugar and sea salt, mixed
ice cubes
2½ measures tequila gold
1½ measures Grand Marnier
4 teaspoons lime juice
1½ measures cranberry juice
1½ measures pineapple juice
pineapple wedges, to decorate
orange rind spirals, to decorate
Method:
Frost the rim of each glass by moistening it with an orange slice, then pressing it into the sugar and salt mixture.
Fill each glass with ice cubes. Pour the tequila, Grand Marnier and fruit juices into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for 10 seconds, then strain into the glasses. Decorate each glass with a pineapple wedge and an orange rind spiral.
For a Sunburn, another tequila gold cocktail, to serve 1, fill a highball glass with ice, add 2 measures of tequila gold, 1 tablespoon of Cointreau and 150 ml (1?4 pint) of cranberry juice. Decorate with an orange slice, if you like.
