Ingredients:
glasses 2 highball glasses
equipment straws
ice cubes
4 measures golden rum, such as Havana Club 3-year-old
juice of 1 lime
cola, to top up
lime wedges
Method:
Fill 2 highball glasses with ice cubes. Pour over the rum and lime juice and stir.
Top up with cola, decorate with lime wedges and serve with straws.
For a First the Money, a minty alternative to a Cuba Libre, muddle 8 lime wedges with 2 dashes of crème de menthe. Add some crushed ice, 2 measures of dark rum and 2 measures of coffee liqueur. Serve over ice in 2 old-fashioned glasses and top up with cola.
