How to make brandy crusta cocktail recipe
makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 chilled martini glasses
equipment cocktail shaker, strainer
lemon wedges
caster sugar
4 measures brandy
1 measure orange Curaçao
1 measure maraschino liqueur
2 measures lemon juice
6 dashes Angostura bitters
ice cubes
lemon rind strips, to decorate
Method:
Moisten the rim of each glass with a lemon wedge, then dip it in the caster sugar.
Put the brandy, Curaçao, maraschino, lemon juice and bitters into a cocktail shaker with some ice cubes and shake well. Strain into the glasses, decorate each with lemon rind strips and serve.
For a Rum Crusta, use dark rum and zesty Cointreau instead of the brandy and Curaçao, use lime juice instead of lemon juice and omit the bitters.
