How to make pink clover club cocktail recipe
makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 martini glasses
equipment cocktail shaker, strainer
ice cubes
juice of 2 limes
2 dashes grenadine
2 egg whites
6 measures gin
strawberry slices, to decorate
Method:
Put 8–10 ice cubes into a cocktail shaker and pour the lime juice, grenadine, egg whites and gin over the ice.
Shake until a frost forms on the outside of the shaker.
Strain into 2 martini glasses and decorate each glass with strawberry slices.
For a Clover Club, a classic that dates from the 1880s, omit the grenadine and add a splash of sugar syrup.
Strain into 2 glasses and decorate with lime wedges.
