Tony Roma's Carolina Barbecue Sauce

How to make Tony Roma's Carolina Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Tony Roma's restaurants make a wonderful rack of pork ribs, and this sauce can be used on beef, pork, or chicken.

SERVES 4

Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup
1 cup red wine vinegar
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup molasses 1½ teaspoons liquid smoke
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder

Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat and whisk until smooth.

Bring the sauce to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30–40 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Notes:
