Ingredients:
4 cups Bisquick
8 ounces sour cream
¾ cup club soda
½ stick butter

Method:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.

In a large bowl, mix together the Bisquick, sour cream, and club soda. Turn the dough out onto lightly floured wax paper and pat it out flat with your hand. Cut with a biscuit cutter.

Place the biscuits in a baking pan.

Melt butter in the microwave and pour ½ the butter over the biscuits before you bake them.

Bake the biscuits for 15–20 minutes.

Brush the remainder of the butter over the biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven.

Notes:
The Popeye's franchise began in Louisiana in the early 1970s. They serve chicken products in mild and spicy flavors and offer sides such as Cajun fries, mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy, and Cajun rice.
