Outback Steakhouse Key Lime Pie
YIELDS 1 PIE
Ingredients:
Crust
1 stick butter
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
Filling:
1 cup water
3 cups sugar
1 package unflavored gelatin
1 teaspoon salt
Juice of 3 limes
1 cup condensed milk
Method:
To prepare the crust, melt the butter in a pan. Mix in the crumbs. Press into a 9" pie pan.
To prepare the filling, heat the water, sugar, gelatin, salt, and lime juice in a pot. Add the condensed milk and heat for 5–7 minutes without boiling.
Pour the filling into the crust and let the pie cool. Cool in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
