In-n-Out Double-Double Burger
1 plain hamburger bun
1/3 pound ground beef
2 slices American cheese
1 tablespoon Thousand Island salad dressing
1 slice fresh tomato
1 lettuce leaf
1 thin slice of onion
Preheat a frying pan or the grill. Lightly toast both halves of the hamburger bun and set aside.
Divide the beef into 2 even portions and form into patties. Season the patties with salt and pepper. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side.
Place a slice of cheese on each hamburger patty and melt the cheese.
Assemble from bottom to top: bun, salad dressing, tomato, lettuce, burger, onion, burger, and then bun top. In-n-Out
