El Pollo Loco Chicken
¾ cup Heinz Chili Sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 large orange
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco sauce, to taste
4 boneless chicken breasts
For the marinade, mix all ingredients in a baking dish.
Add chicken and marinate for at least 4 hours, or up to 24 hours.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard marinade.
Cook chicken on a hot grill for about 10 minutes on each side.
El Pollo Loco means “the crazy chicken” in Spanish. The chain specializes in marinated grilled chicken that is flame broiled over an open grill right before your eyes.
