Cracker Barrel Ham and Red Eye Gravy

How to make Cracker Barrel Ham and Red Eye Gravy recipe - Cracker Barrel uses country ham. This is a lighter and less salty version of the original.

SERVES 2

Ingredients:
1 (¼  -thick) ham steak
2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons strong black coffee
4 tablespoons water

Method:
Melt margarine in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the ham and fry for 6–8 minutes until done. Remove ham from skillet.

Add coffee and water to the ham juice.

Bring to a boil. Serve the gravy over the ham steak.
