Carl's Jr. Six Dollar Burger

How to make Carl's Jr. Six Dollar Burger Recipe - Hardees and Carl's Jr. serve these giant hamburgers and compare them to the burgers you get at popular casual restaurants. This meaty recipe will give you the restaurant feeling at home.

SERVES 1

Ingredients:
½ pound ground beef
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 large hamburger bun
3 teaspoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons ketchup
1 teaspoon mustard
3–4 dill pickle slices
1 leaf of iceberg lettuce
2 slices of tomatoes
4–5 red onion rings

Method:
Preheat barbecue or indoor grill to medium heat.

Form the ground beef into a patty that is slightly larger than the bun. Generously salt and pepper each side of the patty.

Grill the burger on the grill 3–4 minutes per side, or until done.

Brown the faces of the bun in a hot skillet over medium heat.

Spread 1½ teaspoons of mayonnaise on the top and bottom buns.

Spread the ketchup and mustard on the top bun.

Arrange pickle slices on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato, and onion on top of the pickles.

Place the cooked burger on the bun and top with cheese.
