How to make Ground beef and chickpeas cooked with orange and cinnamon recipe - Boeuf au sol et les pois chiches cuits à l'orange et cannelle recette
Serves 4
In a large pan over low heat, sauté 1 finely chopped red onion in a little olive oil for 5 minutes, until soft.
Add 2 grated garlic cloves, a 1in (2.5cm) piece of fresh ginger, grated, and a pinch of ground cinnamon. Season generously, add 1½lb (675g) ground beef, and cook until the meat is brown.
Add the zest and juice of 1 orange, and stir in a 14oz (400g) can of drained and rinsed chickpeas.
