How to make Burger with foie gras recipe - Preparation : 30 minutes, Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serve: 4 Burgers
Ingredients:
4 buns or brioche
Onion Jam
3 large onions, yellow
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 glasses of red wine (about 35 cl)
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
One oak leaf salad
Detail 3 stars
4 escalopes of foie gras
6 slices of duck smoked duck
Assembly:
1 apple golden or Jonagold
Salt and pepper mill
Method:
Prepare jam onions.
Cut the onions into large cubes.
In a heavy saucepan, heat oil, saute the onions until they become translucent. When lightly browned, add the wine and stir, simmer and then add the sugar and vinegar . Salt and pepper.
Allow stew gently over low heat until there is no more wine.
Remove the leaves and chop salad. Heat a frying pan and cook dry the foie gras only 2 minutes on each side.
Place 1 or 2 slices of duck breast over. Heat small brioche buns few minutes in a hot oven.
Cut the apple into slices, have a bit of onion jam on the bottom of bread and 1 slice of apple and one escalope of foie gras, add a little salad. Close the burger. Put some onion jam apart to serve.
