Makes 100ml/3½fl oz/⅓ cup
Ingredients:
1 tsp Dijon mustard
a pinch of caster (superfine) sugar
2 tbsp white or red wine vinegar
6 tbsp olive oil
salt and ground black pepper
Method:
1 Whisk the mustard, sugar, vinegar and seasoning together in a bowl. Gradually whisk in the oil until the dressing amalgamates and thickens.
