How to make vodka sazerac recipe
makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 old-fashioned glasses
2 sugar cubes
4 drops Angostura bitters
5 drops Pernod
6–8 ice cubes
4 measures vodka
lemonade, to top up
Method:
Put a sugar cube in each old-fashioned glass and shake 2 drops of bitters over each.
Add the Pernod and swirl it around to coat the inside of each glass. Drop in 3–4 ice cubes and pour in the vodka. Top up with lemonade, stir gently to mix and serve.
For an Iceberg, a cloudy pastis with a mighty punch, omit the lemonade and Angostura bitters and serve over ice in old-fashioned glasses.
