Of course, you don’t have to wait until after working out to prepare this beauty. It’s the perfect meal replacement shake and is a great way to sneak some extra protein into kids with picky eating habits. After all, few children can resist a creamy, sweet fruit treat.
Yield: approximately one 20-ounce (570 ml) smoothie
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (90 g) frozen mango chunks
1/4 cup (40 g) frozen pineapple pieces
1 1/2 cups (355 ml) coconut water
1/2 medium banana
2 tablespoons (15 g) vanilla
plant protein powder
(such as pea or hemp)
2 tablespoons (30 g) lucuma powder
Method:
In a blender, combine all the ingredients.
