How to make baja sour cocktail recipe
makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 highball glasses
equipment cocktail shaker
ice cubes
2½ measures tequila gold
4 teaspoons sugar syrup
2½ measures lemon juice
4 dashes orange bitters
1 egg white
2 tablespoons Amontillado sherry
lemon wedges, to decorate
orange rind spirals, to decorate
Method:
Put 8–10 ice cubes into a cocktail shaker with the tequila, sugar syrup, lemon juice, bitters and egg white and shake vigorously.
Pour into 2 highball glasses and drizzle over the sherry. Decorate each glass with lemon wedges and an orange rind spiral and serve.
For a Batanga, another tequila cocktail, dip a lime wedge in some salt and rub it around the rim of 2 highball glasses. Fill the glasses with ice, add 2 measures of tequila to each and top up with cola.
