makes 2
Ingredients:
glasses 2 old-fashioned glasses
equipment mixing glass, strainer
ice cubes
2 measures Plymouth gin
2 measures Campari
2 measures red vermouth
soda water, to top up (optional)
orange wedges, to decorate
Method:
Put some ice cubes into a mixing glass and fill 2 old-fashioned glasses with ice cubes.
Add the gin, Campari and vermouth to the mixing glass, stir briefly to mix and strain over the ice in the glasses. Top up with soda water, if liked. Decorate each glass with some orange wedges and serve.
For a Bronx, a more citrussy version, use 2 measures of sweet vermouth instead of the Campari and 2 measures of dry vermouth instead of the red vermouth. Serve in 2 chilled martini glasses and top up with fresh orange juice.
